Sleep Apnea and Snoring
Sleep Apnea is a treatable disorder in which a person stops breathing during
sleep, often hundreds of times during the night.
Sleep Apnea is a common disorder that affects millions of men, women and children
but is often undiagnosed, despite the potentially serious consequences of the
disorder. It is estimated that at least 10 million Americans have have unrecognized
sleep apnea.
Oral appliance therapy is one of several non-surgical treatments for snoring
and obstructive sleep apnea. Oral appliances can be an effective treatment in
some patients with mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnea and is often associated
with greater patient satisfaction than nasal continuous positive airway pressure
